Delfina De La Garza February 24, 1957 - September 1, 2021

Delfina De La Garza, 64, of Port Lavaca Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Delfina was born in Mercedes Texas on February 24, 1957 to Andres Flores and Dionicia Torres. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Heriberto De La Garza, daughter, Cristina Torres, sons; Robert Torres Jr., Andy Torres, Brandon Lee De La Garza, sisters; Sandy De La Garza, Rosie Monroe, Aurlieo Cadena, brothers; Ray De La Garza, Robert De La Garza and Ricky De La Garza as well as 17 grandchildren. A visitation will begin at 11:45am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 12:15 with a mass to start at 1pm and a burial to follow at De La Garza Cemetery. Honoring Delfina as pallbearers are Andy Torres, Robert Torres Jr., Brandon De La Garza, Robert De La Garza, Elijah Aragon and Tina De La Garza. Manuel Caballero III September 10, 1972 - September 1, 2021

 

Manuel Caballero III, 48, of Victoria passed away on Wednesday September 1, 2021. Manuel was born in Yoakum on September 10, 1972 to Manuel Caballero Sr. and Maria Nieves Olguin. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Mercedes Caballero, mother Maria Nieves Olguin and sister Christina Caballero. Left to cherish his memory is his fiance, Jeanette Hernandez, father, Manuel Sr., daughters; Syian Caballero, Kaitlin, Taryn, Hailey, and Jalyssa Gilpatrick, sons; Christian Caballero, Daniel Caballero, sisters; Linda Caballero, Esmerelda Caballero, Michelle Caballero and brother, Tommy Olguin as well as his beloved five grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home Victoria on Wednesday, September 8th from 4pm - 8pm with the Holy Rosary to begin at 7pm. On Thursday, September 9th a continued visitation will begin at 8:45am followed by a 10am burial service. Maria Moreno April 9, 1928 - August 31, 2021

 

Maria C. Moreno, 93, of Port Lavaca passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Maria was born in Matehuala S.L.P on April 9, 1928 to Diego Contreras and Adalberta Rocha. She was an avid crocheter in her younger years and left many special, handmade mementos for her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and tending to her plants.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ramon Moreno, Sr.; son, John Moreno; infant daughter, Francisca Moreno; and grandson, Scott Christopher Moreno. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Janie Moreno of Port Lavaca, Josie (Larry) Barrios of Sugar Land, sons, Raymond (Mary) Moreno of Port Lavaca; Raul (Sandra) Moreno of Sugar Land; Ambrosio Moreno (Butch) of Port Lavaca; sister, Dominga Rangel of Matehuala S.L.P.; honorary family members, Beatriz Moreno and family; as well as her beloved 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home in Port Lavaca on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4pm - 8pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm by Maria’s granddaughters, Kristi Rae Moreno, Stephanie Moreno, Sabrina Moreno and Miranda Barrios. A continued visitation will take place at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church at 11am Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 with a mass to begin at 2pm and a burial will follow at Port Lavaca Cemetery. Moreno, Michael Moreno, Kasey Moreno, Steven Moreno, Jacob Barrios, and Michael Anthony Moreno. Maria’s granddaughter, Lily Moreno, and her great-grandchildren, Anthony Moreno, Karlos Ray Moreno, Jr., John Moreno, David Rey Moreno, Maya Rae Moreno, Charlie Guillen, Jr., Carson Guillen, Sofia Guillen, Nadia L. Suniga, Naomi Suniga, Kaela M. Moreno, Audrina Moreno, and Violet Moreno will serve as honorary pallbearers. Services are under the care and direction of Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home 361-575-3212.
